You really can wear a Kromer all year round. We kept the classic style of the Original, but cut it from lightweight, water-resistant 100% waxed cotton duck. When the chilly morning gives way to a sunny afternoon, just pull up the earband and you'll be comfortable all day long.

Great cap and fits perfectly. It's usable under "most" conditions. I'd recommend a thin fleece liner for the flaps, though, as the waxed cotton on the flaps just gets cold and doesn't help the ears much.

Great fit and quality. Will become my favorite duck hunting and wet weather cap. Nice to purchase products made in the midwest and the USA.

I got my Camo Wax Cap for Christmas. I was able to wear it the first time in March. It was raining in the woods for several hours then the cap dried while wearing it and fits perfect every time I put it on. I wear it spring, summer and fall. On cooler days when I'm working in the woods. I put dryer sheets in the ear bands and it keeps the bugs away from my face. But I still have to use my wool SK for winter.

Called customer service and they we're super easy and helpful to work with as I was ordering hats for groomsmen gifts. Not to mention the hats are awesome too.

I used a tape measure and got the correct size. Fits like a glove and very comfortable.
