  • The Petal Pusher Cap is built on the same design as the Sidekick Cap, with the same shorter brim, offset pull-down earband, and classic Stormy Kromer construction. The difference is its signature wool flower, which adds a fun, eye-catching look.

  • Yes. The wool flower is removable, allowing you to change the look of your cap. With the flower removed, the Petal Pusher has the same classic silhouette as the Sidekick Cap. Just keep in mind that the three flower petals are separate pieces rather than sewn together, so take care not to misplace them when removing or reattaching the flower.

  • The Petal Pusher Cap is designed for cold-weather comfort, but how warm it feels depends on the person and the conditions. Wool provides natural warmth while remaining breathable, making it a great choice for cool to cold weather. If you regularly spend extended time outdoors in extreme cold, consider one of our insulated styles or hats with longer earbands for additional warmth.

  • Just like the Original Stormy Kromer Cap, the Petal Pusher's earband pulls down to provide extra warmth when you need it. Simply slide your thumb between the earband and the cap, then pull it down over your ears. There's no need to untie or unfold anything. The tie is positioned to the side, but the earband functions exactly the same.

  • For most people, the Petal Pusher Cap's earband covers about one-half to two-thirds of the ear. Because everyone's head shape and ear placement are different, coverage will vary. If you're looking for more coverage or added warmth in extreme cold, Stormy Kromer also offers styles with longer earbands and additional insulation.

  • Dry cleaning is the best way to care for your Petal Pusher Cap. For small spills or stains, spot cleaning is often enough. If your cap gets wet from rain or snow, let it air dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight. Never put your wool cap in the dryer, as the heat can cause it to shrink.

    I've wanted one of these hats for a long time but today was the first time I've been able to actually see it and try it on. So, I just had to buy it. I can't believe how warm it is..love it SO much! -Bug lady

    First off, my family loves anything Stormy Kromer! I bought this hat in grey with the pink flower for my daughter for Christmas. It is ADORABLE! Tried it on myself, and hope someone in my family gets me a Stormy Kromer hat for Christmas. I think it will look great on her, and it is obviously meant to last and last and last.     My friend and I both bought a Petal Pusher cap after being introduced to Stormy Kromer on our annual U.P. trip this summer. I LOVE this cap, it's sooo cute and so practical. Keeps my head and ears warm while still looking cute. I bought the Gray with Pink trim/flower and get compliments every time I wear it, now I want the Mapleberry!     I too have a difficult time finding a hat that's just right to me. The minute I saw it on the rack I heard it calling my name. I have the gray with pink trim. It's warm, comfortable and fits well. I like the higher crown (higher than a baseball cap).It'll be my first of many. -thrums

    I love hats but most of the time they just don't look right on my head. The instant I saw this hat I just knew that it was made for me! It is really cute, just wish it was cooler so that I could actually wear it outside instead of in my house. Love the ivory color. This was my first Stormy Kromer cap but will not be my last. -Kathy
