  • No. The Original Stormy Kromer Cap is lined with soft cotton flannel, and the sweatband is made from a comfortable polycotton blend. The wool outer shell provides warmth and durability, while the materials against your skin are designed for everyday comfort.

  • Simply slide your thumb between the earband and the cap, then pull the earband down over your ears. There's no need to untie or unfold anything. When you're ready, just pull it back up into place for the classic Stormy Kromer look.

  • For most people, the Original Stormy Kromer Cap's earband covers about one-half to two-thirds of the ear. Because everyone's head shape and ear placement are different, coverage will vary. If you're looking for more coverage or added warmth in extreme cold, Stormy Kromer also offers styles with longer earbands and additional insulation.

  • Dry cleaning is the best way to care for your Original Stormy Kromer Cap. For small spills or stains, spot cleaning is often enough. If your cap gets wet from rain or snow, let it air dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight. Never put your wool cap in the dryer, as the heat can cause it to shrink.

    was up in door county wisconsin in a store and i saw it. the Kromer. wow how cool is this hat. i will be getting this for christmas from my mother. but on sunday afternoon when i stop over to watch the Packer football games, i ask her it i can wear my kromer, for good luck, though the packers dont need any luck. Love the made in the USA Kromer. Go Kromer Go, i mean Go Pack Go, Love my future hat!!!

    I tried on a Stormy Kromer Cap at my favorite sporting goods store. I tried on several sizes until I decided on 7 3/4. I went on line and ordered directly from SK. I ordered three caps to go with some wool coats that I have. The cap colors are Red Pine, Olive and Black. I especially like the Red Pine color since it goes well with several colors. The cotton lining is very comfortable on my bald head. Needless to say, I love these caps and can't wait for colder weather here in Colorado. Good Stuff.

    I love the versatility of the Stormy Kromer. When the weather's nice, I can keep the flaps up, and have the most stylish, comfortable cap ever! When the weather get's nasty, not a problem! Just fold down the flaps and you're good to go!

    I really enjoy owning and wearing this cap and would recommend it to anyone who works or enjoys spending time outdoors. I love the traditional look of this cap and I love that it's made in America. I take much pride in buying and using American made products. We'll done SK.

    Just got my first Stormy Kromer - the Original in Charcoal. This cap was a perfect fit, no adjustments were needed. The seams were all tight and straight, the wool was good quality and the pride the Stormy Kromer people take in their product was evident. I think my second cap will be in Blaze Orange for pheasant hunting in South Dakota! Thank you for a great product!

    We have a funny stormy kroner hat story. My husband bought his first stormy kromer hat a few months ago. We read one story on them that said if your gonna buy one for yourself you might as well buy one for the wife too or you may not have your own hat anymore. So sure enough I needed my own. The first day I had my new stormy kromer we had been travelling when we stopped to get some coffee. As we got back in the car we leaned over to kiss as we often do but our bills on our hats kept us suspended. We laughed and then removed the hats and proceeded to complete our mission. We thought it was worth the laugh to share it with you.

    I have 3 Stormy Kromer caps and the wife has 2. We love em. Not only are they great for excursions into whatever Old Man Winter can conjure up, they also are the perfect companion for an evening around the fire in home or cabin. The comfort can't be matched. Donning a Kromer is like having your favorite slippers for your noggin.

    Simply the best hat I have ever worn! I have a larger head and even own fitted hats in the same size as my SK. The SK fits like a glove! Was worried about not trying it on first but I couldnt be happier with my online order. Follow the sizing chart and you shouldnt have any issues. Im a Lineman who lives, works and hunts/fish's in Michigan and this hat is my new best friend!!!
