    I'm 5'10, 150lbs., ordered a medium. This vest has a slim fit with a back that is just long enough, slightly below waist. It's mostly wool, it may stretch a bit but not much. Overall seems very well made, good stitching and zipper. Collar stands up which I like.

    The vest was too small, returning for an XL. Not sure if the sizing chart is accurate. The Vest looked great! Can't wait to get my replacement.

    Very satisfied with the vest. I’m 6’ 240lbs and the XL fit perfect (plenty of room with a flannel a little snug with a hoody under). The only small criticism I have is that the front panels around the arm holes have a little too much material. They puff out a bit due to the material.

    I bought one of these as a work vest. Expensive for work wear but I knew it would hold up. It won't rip or tear or burn easily. It's perfect, not bulky. It has a really nice fitting cut compared to any other wool vest I tried on. So it fits well under a coat, and it's not baggy and loose hanging in the way. I like that it's not covered with pockets, I'm working not going on a safari. And it looks great, even though I couldn't care less about looks, it performs perfectly!

    The size Large vest was nice but it was tight around my waistline which is 35-36. I was told it was being discontinued and you would come out with two new styles this fall. I hope they have a little breathing room around the waist. I returned it asking for a refund. will wait to see the new fall models.

    My family bought Filson for generations, until they became "citified". This vest fits nice, is warm and is made very well. The only improvement would be an extra 2-3 inches longer in the tail.
